What is CRED?
CRED is a mobile app which allows credit card users to manage multiple cards, pay credit card bills and get rewarded for making timely payments. Founded by FreeCharge founder Kunal Shah, after selling FreeCharge in 2015.

It gained a distinctive impression in the very beginning of the beat version launch of the app. It raised a significant amount of $30 million before its announcement from venture capitalists like Sequoia Capital, Ribbit, and Ru-Net. Cred is creating a significant impression among the credit users as it is both rewarding and trustworthy.

Rewards:-
We get 'Cred Coins' for every payment, initially after signup you get coins as per your credit score, eg., if your credit score is 750 you can earn 750 cred coins. Cred partnered with companies like Airbnb, BookMyShow, Urban Ladder, Fulenco, Ixigo and Curefit Etc. It provides offers and discounts to users where the more you use Cred the more you increase the offer value. If you opt for a cashback, the cashback you earned will be transferred to your credit card against which you claim the cashback.

Design:-

Cred is a Marvel in style and we can experience the best ever UI for a mobile app in the recent times. As a Finance based startup they did really well in building trust with flow of the app. Swift signup and joining process make users attract and connect emotionally to the app. Harish Sivaramakrishnan, the chief design officer of CRED did a fabulous job here.

Author's Thoughts:-

Though we use many apps to pay our credit bills, Cred has an option to donate our rewards to charity which is a good initiative for a FinTech based startup. #KillTheBill

"I felt the need to create a system that rewards trustworthy and creditworthy
individuals of India and inspires others to be like them."
                                        - Kunal Shah
                                      Founder, CRED.
